Bongo Bags

Bongo Bags are named after the basket-like salmon traps used on the Teifi river, which the bags resemble. They each contain 720kg of loose product, and can be moved by a single person with a manual pallet handler.

Bongo Bags are delivered to site by our hauliers using a tail-lift truck, from which they are offloaded onto a manual pallet handler. The handler can then move the bags to you preferred location, as long as the route is along a hard level surface. The smallest available vehicle with tail-lift facilities is a 7.5 tonne lorry carrying approx. 3.5 tonne payloads. You must advise the haulier accordingly if you are unable to accommodate larger vehicles.

In the event of the delivery vehicle failing to negotiate your access, the goods will be offloaded at the nearest convenient available point, at the discretion of the driver.
